Our Story
Café La Providencia was born from a simple yet powerful idea: great coffee can change lives. We are the sustainability initiative of La Providencia, a micro-community in Honduras that works to restore the lives of orphaned and vulnerable children and youth by giving them a future full of opportunities. Each bag of coffee supports this purpose, funding our children's home, bilingual education, and medical brigades in Siguatepeque.
Every bag of coffee you purchase directly funds our bilingual school, medical brigades, and supports the families who grow and harvest our beans with pride and care in the highlands of Honduras.

The Coffee
Our coffees come from two of Honduras's most celebrated growing regions, each with a distinct altitude, microclimate and flavor profile — united by the same commitment to quality and purpose.
Grown in the cool highlands of Comayagua at over 1,200 meters above sea level. A balanced and approachable cup with complexity that reveals itself as it cools — ideal for filter and pour-over methods.
Marcalá is one of the jewels of Honduran specialty coffee. Grown at exceptional altitudes, this lot offers a vibrant, wine-like complexity with a long, clean finish — for the curious and adventurous palate.
